From the Rising of the Sun to the Place of its Setting.
The above phrase is taken from Isaiah 45: 6. You can found the above phrase in two other passages in the Bible. The prophet Isaiah stated in 45: 23, stated “Before me every knee will bow and by me every tongue will swear.” The prophet Isaiah listed the following reasons why every knee will bow before God.
There are six mentions of “I am the Lord, there is no other; apart from me there is no other.” The verses are 5, 6,14,18,21 and 22. In verse 18, God stated that He is the creator therefore there is no other God beside Him. In verse 21, God is the God who know the past and the future. In verse 22, God is the God who is continuing calling people to know Him. Therefore every knee needs to bow because there is no other God like Him; not in the past, present or the future.
Prophet Isaiah also mentioned in this chapter that God is the Creator. In verse 12 and 18, God created and fashioned the earth; stretched the starry sky; created the heavens; created the earth so can be inhabited. [Genesis 1 to 3]. God is the creator and sustainer of this earth.
God’s words are open and His words are the truth [verse 19 and 20]. God’s words are in the Bible for everyone to read; all the promises are in there. If we read continuously and carefully, we will know God and His will. God has made known of the past, present and the future for us to read.
Therefore from the rising of the sun to the place of its setting, we should continue to bow and worship Him so others can see Jesus in us.
