Anna was born in Hong Kong where she became a believer before immigrating to New York at age 9. She started serving the Lord at age 16, teaching Sunday school and eventually becoming Sunday School Superintendent at the Chinese Conservative Baptist Church. She graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Math & Education and taught at elementary and high school levels for several years as a math and computer teacher. In 1982, Anna and her family began attending Oversea Chinese Mission, where she continued to serve in Children’s Ministry. Eventually tasked as the Director of Children Ministry, she developed and oversaw OCM’s Children Sunday School, Summer Day Camp, and the Afterschool Program before stepping down in 2013. For 40+ years, Anna’s calling to see children come to Christ remains undiminished. Presently, she continues to teach children in the Pre-K/K group through songs. Anna enjoys spending time with her husband, Elder Chuck, 3 children and their spouses, 11 grandchildren, and 2 grand-dogs.
